ExpertZoo.com: Scam or Legitimate Business?

So what do other people think of ExpertZoo.com? Here are a few links to help inform your opinion:

After all that, can I safely conclude that ExpertZoo is a scam? No. I wish it were that easy.

While their site has a sent de poisson and lofty promises, the claims could start to materialize if they generated enough site activity. So who knows what the future holds for ExpertZoo?

Personally, I do not believe it is in the cards. I strongly recommend saving your money and simply invest time in free resources that will benefit you more:

  1. Sign up for a free LinkedIn.com account and connect to all your business associates. In the past 6 months, LinkedIn had over 14 million unique visitors. It personally helped a new employer find and initiate contact with me; I have a phone interview this week. Results like that are closer to what ExpertZoo wishes it could be: the new LinkedIn. Unfortunately, their traffic is less than 1% of LinkedIn's.
  2. Sign up for FaceBook and Twitter accounts and market yourself on social media sites.
  3. Want to spend money? Buy your own domain name, find a web host, work with a competent web designer and integrate the items above into your site. With the right people, you could market yourself better than ExpertZoo would ever be able to.

And so I leave you with this: when I declined to interview with ExpertZoo.com, I thoughtfully put together an email expressing my concerns with items 1, 2 and 3. I thought my feedback would help. Know what I received back?

LOL, What a worthless review. Thats why I am making a ton of money why you are looking for a job.

Nice. Very classy. And true. I am looking for a job. But I refuse to work for a shady company that smells of scam.
