ExpertZoo.com: Scam or Legitimate Business?

As directed, I visited ExpertZoo.com and looked around. And now may I ask you, the reader, to please visit and decide if you think it's a scam? The link will open a new tab or window, for easy return.

After my initial visit, I felt very skeptical. So I researched the site's claims, applied SEO skills to follow hunches, and reviewed other information about the site. All of which lead me to the following opinion: ExpertZoo.com may not be a scam, but you should save your money. There are better, more established sites that do exactly what ExpertZoo claims to do. That is just my opinion. To follow are my findings, so you may decide how credible ExpertZoo.com is to you.

When I explored ExpertZoo.com, I immediately noticed four things:

  1. The site's copy is horrible. It's very ‘pie in the sky' and makes the money and opportunities sound easy. Too easy. Here are some of my favorite quotes:
    • “Tired of missing amazing opportunities? …You don't have to worry anymore.”

    • “Our service has been developed specifically to allow people of any background to get ahead and prosper. We are here to help you make money, find opportunities and advance in your life. It's easy and absolutely free.”

    • “Generate significant income just by being a member.”

    • “And not only is it all free, but we actually pay you.”

    • “ExpertZoo.com will raise your children for you!”

    • Okay, so I made up the last quote. But as I said, the site's verbiage is horrible because it promises significant income and opportunity just by being a member. Isn't that amazing?! So if these things just come, why do they need salespeople?
    • While the sign-up may be free, they soon attempt to sell you a marketing package at $100 a pop. Don't believe me? Here is a quote directly from the site's jobs page:
    • “You will be contacting individuals and/or businesses and briefly educating them about what we can do for them. You would then take their information and sign them up for a free 30-day trial. At that point in time, we will take over the entire sales process and try to convert these customers to paying members (we convert a high % of them).
