ExpertZoo.com: Scam or Legitimate Business?

To the Hiring Manager,

I am interested in finding out more about the opportunity mentioned in your Craigslist post. I have two years prior sales experience (mortgage sales) and consistently ranked in the top 3 of a 15 person team.

Sincerely,

Ansel Taft

Here is what I received back (and to preserve the integrity of the correspondence, punctuation mistakes were not edited):

Your resume looks great and I would definitely like to talk to you. Before we go any further.

1. The company/project in questions is ExpertZoo.com. We have a very unique product that business want/need and are willing to pay for.

2. The sales process is fairly easy and straight forward. No guesswork. Just following a simple step by step plan we have developed. On average sales people that have been with us for a while generate about 15 sales per week and earn $180 from each sale. That’s about $2,700 per week. Some do a lot better.

3. You can consider this to be an outside sales position. First 90 days are commission only 1099. We don't want to waits our time with people who don't work out. Thereafter, we present an opportunity to go salary + commission. At the same time, most people stay 1099 as they make a lot more.

4. As I have mentioned in the job post, our company is growing fast and the right/hard working people will find a multitude of opportunities within our organization (management, equity compensation, etc….)

If you are still interested, please take a look at ExpertZoo and shoot me a couple of ideas of how you would promote our product. If I like what I see, lets schedule an interview and go from there.

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you
